i was wondering, concerning pictures to put in signatures or post, is it illegal to use them in a sig or post or wallpaper if it says it's copywrited and cannot be used with out express permission of the webmaster or whatever had the picture?
i'm really confused here and dont want to go breaking any laws i didn't know existed.TEAM SG1 LIVES

Furthermore, you cannot use a picture in your sig that is linked to someone else's website/server as that would drain their bandwidth.

If you scroll down past "submit reply" you'll see Additional Options. Click on the Manage Attachments button and find the pic you want to upload. I'll attach a pic of one of my fave Happy Bunnys as an example. You can then click on the thumbnail to view the fullsize pic.
This won't work if you're trying to put an image in your sig file...Attached FilesLast edited by ShadowMaat; 08 July 2005, 01:05 PM. Reason: GW server issues keep glitching my images

You can't put images stored on your computer into your message: you must put them somewhere on the web. The site i use is called http://photobucket.com . It's free to sign up, and once you have an account you can upload pictures from your computer to the site. The site stores the images online, and each has its own url.
(For example i uploaded my signature and it was given the url "http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y32/hermajestythequeen/Nox-signature-2.jpg")
Then you can post the url of your picture between image tags in your post or signature.
Hope that makes sense... ask me again if you still have trouble.

The image tag (yep, the one with the mountain on) needs to go on both sides of the link. So you'll have [ IMG] http://somelink [ /IMG] (only without the spaces in the image tags). Click the tag, then type the link, then click the tag again. Or alternatively, type the link and then highlight it and click the tag.
