IRC get-together? your opinions...

Yeah, so, I've been thinking of the idea of an IRC get together of all the RP members for a while now. It would be OOC, and we could talk about what we want to see happen, whats going on in the RP, tell funny stories, ask questions, I dunno.. whatever you want.
It would probably be through some instant messenger system or just an IRC chat thing online, but, what do you guys think of the idea?

I would prefer a chat kind of thing over a messenger system based talk because i do not like to give out my messenger info.

As for the speaking thing, I'm not sure everyone has a mike. but text is also nice, because we might not be able to reconize eachother's voices that fast, so text would be nice so we can see who says what.

yeah, im up for a chat room area of sorts, like a live message service. i dont have a mike, and i wont buy one, but i like to talk too.

check out Trillian (the Swiss Army Knife of IM). You can have a live chat even though people have different IM programs.

Or, check with Darren, doesn't GW have a chatroom?

As for gateworld having a chatroom.. I'm pretty sure they don't I vaugley remember a big thread trying to get one.. but I dont think they were successful..

That sounds great, I would love to be apart of it. It would just depened on the day and the time. I know with everyone being in different time zones it will be kind of hard. But I am in.
