Jumper Cloak Remotes

We know that each Jumper comes with it's own cloak remote, but here's a question, Does the remote only work for the jumper it came from or does it work for any jumper?

I think that it can work for any jumper, what do you all think?

remember the episode with the wraith carrier ship, the wraith rekeyed the pj to work with his wrist device.

although my guess on how they managed to get into the pj was by altering their remote control to work with the altered pj.

wouldnt the cloak kind of bend all signals thrown at it unless its subspace signals?

I would imagine, that it would either work on the PJ it is closest too, or each PJ has its own frequency, like a garage door opener.
