SGU: Horizon Character-Banners

Some of you may have noticed some really snazzy banners up on sigs from those of us at Stargate-Universe recently... the reason behind this is to refresh some of the interest in SG: Horizon and SG: Destiny from regular fans, as well as to open the eyes to newcomers that we are serious fan-fiction series.

Because this is Horizon-based forum here at GW I am putting up the character banners I have created for the show for people to use. If anyone would also like the banners for Destiny put up here, let me know.

As I said on SGU, those are some great banners. Right now I'm using the Callen one, but with so many to choose from I'm sure I'll change now and then.

The reason I'm not using one yet is that I'm having trouble deciding which one to use first. They're all looking amazing.

If you right click on one of the banners, copy the URL of the image, and paste it into your signature with two image tags around it, it should show up.

I'll show you what I typed for my signature, so you have a model to work off of.

[ IMG ]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/3373/sghcallenfinalcq1.jpg[ /IMG ]

All you have to do is change the URL to the character you want, and take away the spaces in "[ IMG ]" and [ /IMG ].

Before I put the character's layer in the image (which starts as a PSD for ease before exporting), I edit the colour settings and the brightness/contrast. I never just slap on the face of the character into the image...

When I was working on the ones for Destiny, I actually had to fix something they didn't with the image they had of Jamie Bamber (Tenyris). On the Crew Wallpaper they did, you can clearly see his face doesn't match the same complection of that character's arm, so I had to create some Hue/Sat settings to make the arm and the face almost identical in colour-levels before I could use it on the banner.
