Carter's Device from Quest pt. 1

Did anyone think that the Device that Carter had looked somewhat like a PSP, except a little wider, lighter color.

Anyway it got me thinking, wouldn't be interesting if someone made a PSP program that would make the screen look like a device from Stargate; have screens that show changes in energy or something.

As for your PSP idea, maybe, but such things would probably require fan made development so it would be limited to something like firmware 1.5

is this the first appearance of this item in stargate? im sure ive never seen it before. it just seemed "convenient" that all of a suddon they had an item like this thats never been used before.

That and the new technology on the show is usualy intergrated with alien technology like that advanced video camera in mobieus. So likely it was an alien hybrid of a tapwave.

The Tapwave was apparently also used in Uninvited when they`re hunting down the nasty terribly artificial-looking monsters.

Yeah, but that Tapwave was modified slightly (we saw it from the back). The Tapwave from "The Quest (Part I)" seems to be unmodified (though we only got to see it from the front).
