could raise such questions & theories, but, hey, that's Lost in a nutshell!

Now we just need a Flashback from

Claire to confirm who her Parent's are, but the Only Flashbacks so far are Visiting the Psychic & The Deleted Seen, talking to the Pilot about Adoption. Either that or we see a Flashback of Christian singing 'Catch a Falling Star', as Claire said that her Father sang that to her as a Child....
