The only thing I can think of is:

2) A hyperspace engine / sublight engine

Looks a bit like a reuse of the Wormhole X-Treme Stargate.

Its too primitive to be any kind of ancient technology, so it must be something mkcay has built or has been working on... i think its a universal gate, one that can be used in any galaxy...the missing link in the whole intergalactic spacegate bridge project...knowing the cheveron from Pegasus and the MW dont match he's designed a gate that can use either. and therefore get a lock in the middle of the void.
