Since the Planet of the Apes on the list is the original, I get one more vote
    10. The Running Man

And since I won't be around when Ptah makes his final determination, if he is the kind and generous tourney creator that we believe him to be (was that thick enough ), then he will make the Planet of the Apes movies have a free pass and then I get one more vote

    xx. Tron

One more note: I think we still need one more vote for Fortress. Come on people, that was a suprising good movie.

Let's see, I have 3 votes left, so here are my final 3:

      Chronicles of Riddick
The Day the Earth stood still
      The day after tomorrow

Sheppard: "Y’know, we’ve been having these conversations for a couple of weeks now, and I don’t even know your name. You guys do have names, right? Let me guess...Steve?"
Wraith: "I am your death. That is all you need to know."
      Sheppard: "I prefer Steve."

Equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

I've got 2 votes left. If someone votes for The Last Starfighter (it only needs one more to get it through), I'll vote for any movie of their choice. Same goes for the original version of The Time Machine (it only needs one more to push it through). Plus you'll get the usual GW bonus.

Ptah, Silent Running only needs one more vote. Need to delete it from the "needing 2 votes" list.
                  IMO always implied.
