So with the "free passes" for those films listed, every film in that series gets though? ie. all 10 Trek films, all six Star Wars films, etc.

^ Yes. Does the matrix count as a classic though?Equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

w00t! Back to 10 votes.
1. Starship Troopers (2nd)
2. Total Recall (I think this is an early favourite to win... ) (3rd)
hmm... Where do the B5 made for TV movies stand? I haven't seen most of them (Only the pilot one) but are they considered part of the arc in general due to their lack of theatrical release or...Last edited by Anubis69; 21 August 2006, 08:20 AM.

I vote to give a free pass to the franchise movies. And throw the Matrix movies in there too, imo. Granted there are stinkers in those franchise groups, but it gives me something easy to vote for then in the early rounds. If more people were to come to the thread and read and comprehend the rules (ie. stop voting for movies already through. I'm thinking of rd 0 of the villain tourney going on now. ), then I'd say no. But I'm thinking we'll be stuck with a lot of the franchise movies and not a wider variety of others if people have to use their votes to get those through and then can't vote for other stand alone movies.
But then which franchise movies do you include and which ones you don't? Someone mentioned the Matrix. I can think of Superman (though in no way do I want III, IV, and Supergirl included ), X-men, and umm well okay I can't think of any more atm.IMO always implied.
