I'm interested in the weapons and equipment within the SGC and Atlantis, and what you think could improve it all. What would you think could prove useful on the field or in the gate room that could help overall if you oversaw the program.
As for, I'd probably start with the basic equipment for each SG team.
The P90 isn't the most powerful weapon, but I guess they chose it for it's iconic look and 50 round clip so the guys aren't constantly reloading in battle. Most of the SG teams are Special Forces qualified right? So why not add modifications to the P90s on certain missions. Suppressors in particular, especially seeing as how the SG teams could find themselves behind enemy lines where stealth is much appreciated. Other than that it addds a little more variety to the P90 look, as throughout most of the episodes it just looks plain and dull.
As for a Sidearm, I only remember them using the M9. However I've heard complaints about the sidearm and it's lack of stopping power among the military. So why not replace that with a more powerful Spec Ops popular pistol in the MK23 SOCOM. It utilizes .45 ACP ammunition, a bit more powerful than that in the M9. ot only that, but it looks sexier as well
