The White House oval office is an exact replica, which took two months to build, but the corridors are wider than the real thing, to make room for the fight between Nightcrawler and the Secret Service.

The set was later used in several episodes of sci-fi TV series Stargate SG-1.

I thought it was the same room when I saw X-Men! Lol, they were both filmed in Vancouver so I guess it wasn't that much of a stretch to say that they recycled the set though.
