    Richard Dean Anderson is back in action and loving it

    stargate's heart throb and former leading man Richard Dean Anderson (Jack O'Neill) is filming in Vancouver, British Columbia -- and loving it. Anderson is back as Major General Jack O'Neill for five episodes this coming season. Two are for SG-1 and three are for Stargate Atlantis.

    On the set, Anderson has had to play a little catch-up with the Stargate Atlantis characters. He's filming the Season Three two-part mid-season cliffhanger, "The Return." But first, Anderson guest stars opposite Torri Higginson in "The Real World."

    He sounds like he might be willing to make many more appearances in the future. That's great! I knew he couldn't stay away forever.

      I can hardly wait to see General Jack in action. I just wish it was 15 episodes instead of 5. (Hint, hint.)

        it seems like he might be a recurring character, according to what he said.
        Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth or easy...

        ... or that any man can measure the tides and hurricanes he will
        encounter on the strange journey.

        Spoiler:

        2 Cor. 10:3-5
        3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
        4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; )
        5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

          Twenty would suit me, but it's great that he'll be back.
