Why the hell dont they just take the ZPM from the Ancient Refuge (Epiphany)? I mean, I know the hot Ancient woman told Rodney not to but she can't do anything! If she does thats breaking the rules right? She'll be sent back to this plane of existence (Naked, so it wont be a complete loss) But still, I am so sick of all this moral stuff, We need a ZPM and that one isnt doing much so its only fair we take it! The Alterans wouldnt want their descendants unprotected right? And it'll come in handy now that the Ori are on their way...

Yeah but theres nobody there now, Didn't they all ascend when they defeated that monster? And that ZPM on M7G-677 (Childhoods End) we should take that too! The kids can stay on the mainland with the Athosians and have sing alongs and stuff, it'll be fun for them! We need ZPM's and we leave them with these primitive people for stupid reasons

The ZPM in ephinany should be our, it should have been our from that episode...There is far to much pathetic 'omg the anceints are watching us' crap in SGA when it come to the ascended! they cant do anything, any of them, becuase the ori will know they are there and it will break intervention laws. the ZPM is free for the taking, so take it before the wraith find out its there and we lose it forever.

Come to think of it, how full would the ZPM be? I mean, if it has to make a time dilation field that large and sustain it for God knows how long...hell, it's probably drained by now.

Well if we can defeat the Wraith, people everywhere in Pegasus can ascend, and defeating the Wraith will require ZPMs. And as for the kids ZPM being almost depleted, it could still give us a few more minutes/hours of shield time if things ever get really bad

Its like what Jack said in 'Shades of Gray: "When the gould are wiping us out at least we'll have our high moral standards!" Or something like that...

And don't forget, the Lantians had all the ZPMs they needed...and they lost, miserably.

time went by in the field 250 to one. so if the ancients made it in their last years in the pegasus galaxy it would be 2,500,000 years longer in the field. thats including the time dialation, the artificial weather and the protal to be powered for 2.5 million years. thats probably on only one zpm. there ar e probably a dozen in there. taking one couldnt hur that much

Right, weekly dialings to earth when we could just use the daedalus as a relay point. That's a less frequent update, but hell it doesn't waste any ZPM power. If they're there for a year, and continue doing the weekly dialings to earth. That would be 52 times that they dial another galaxy.

And they might have to keep it open for longer to send more data and to report if Wraith are heading towards the city suddenly! Like when Michael ame, they probably would have informed Earth immediately of the situation

But how long do they have to keep the gate open for? All of the reports from the first year took 0.3 seconds worth of gate time according to Rodney in "Letters from Pegasus". A year's worth of dialings could probably total up to 15 seconds. Big deal.

And what does that have to do with defeating the Wraith?
