Rep bars..might have already been asked

I did search the forum for this, but I couldn't fine it.

Could someone tell be how the rep bars work? Like I just got to 100 and now have have 2 bars. What is 3? 250, 500, or 1000 or something else entirely?

What is 4, 5, etc.?
