ETHON... it's a waste of a good Greek-tragedy name, the episode is NOT about Prometheus being destroyed from inside, it's a few minutes about Prometheus being blown-up, why not used, say ... Prometheus Unsaved on that note, Prometheus Unbound is kinda good in title, relatively, although in story in another matter

ROFLMAO!!! Again!!! Agreed a bit of a stretch -- I guess it would have helped if I had seen the ep!!!

WATERGATE, like someone said.. it's not good to link a sci-fi eps with a national scandal L

Cute play on words but nothing more!!! Boring!!! Didn’t like the ep either -- I know shouldn’t be of influence but!!!!

And as far as ep titles like Tomb, Crystal Skull too obvious again boring!!!!

aintright - I believe that "Red Sky" is taken from "Red sky at night, shepard's delight; red sky in the morning, shephard's warning" which is reference to forecasting the weather. I suppose SG-1 are the metaphorical shephards in the episode.

Ahh forgot about that saying -- very good -- see this is what I mean!!!! missing something that is truly insightful -- will take Red Sky off my list!!

Emancipation (one knife fight isn't going to emancipate anyone--even that girl is still going to be subject to her new husband. We're talking the dark ages!)

Like I have Summit on the list boring if you just think a summit as a gathering or meeting boring -- but if you look at a gathering of the goa’uld (the ones present are at there highest level or degree that can be attained they are the system lords -- and their lotars who are trying to obtain their summit) and then the Tokra could consider this mission their acme -- if it had been accomplished they felt they were making a huge achievement of what they had been trying to obtain and well …..

I guess that is kinda what I am looking for, or more so, afraid I may be missing --- maybe I am taking this tooo seriously --- now I have a headache!!! *sigh*

My comments on the episode titles
I don't understand all the votes for Need. I think that's a great description of the episode. Jack, Sam, Tealc needed to get out of the mine. Daniel needing the sarcophagus, 1st for the high it gives him and then because of the withdrawal. Shyla needs to be loved and her father Pyrus needs power.

I don't mind character names for titles if the show is about the character. I like the title Urgo, it's about him. What else would you call it?

Urgo is gone! Another "name" title bites the dust. I think something about mind games would have worked much better. Names for titles are too literal and boring for my liking.
