International Comic Con - San Diego 2006

Has anyone heard if Stargate is supposed to be there again this year? I'm trying to decide if I should drive down this year or not. Thanks.

No word yet, but they generally don't announce the big schedule until 4th of July weekend. RL mentioned something about it awhile back, but I don't know if it was a done deal. I'm hedging my bets for Saturday again.

I thought that Judge wasn't doing conventions this year. Then again he could just be there with Michael to promote their Women of Sci-fi calendar.


I've always wanted to go to this con but I'm already booked for too many to add this one. Maybe next year.

Not sure. Comic Con isn't so much a convention (like Creation) as a big PR schmooze for the studios. I'd love to go, but alas, wrong coast!

They DO have a NYC Comic Con but it's mostly comics, although when they did it (can't recall when) they oversold some tickets and had a lot of angry fans. Wish they could get the Stargate folk to the NYC one!

I remember a small con in Boston, but that was a few years ago, and the Creation Boston con didn't go so well. Out of all the locations in Boston they probably picked *the* worst place to have it. The hotel was even worse. They ended up having to move Don to another hotel.

Ah, thanks for the heads up! Where are they listed on the CCI site? Is this just something that has yet to be added to the site?

The panels should be listed on the site in a few weeks.

then, using their binocular search feature, search for names (don't bother with Stargate, doesn't show up)

Spotted Shanks and Judge, but no one else.
