He really thinks so? Honestly, that surprises me. Quite frankly, he never really struck me as the favorite choosy type.

I think it turned out quite well, having read it last night. Alex, who wrote some of the outline, did feel that the story wasn't working at times. However, he told me he was pleased with the end result.

It was one of the most challenging episodes we've ever done, that's true. And for the longest time, I wasn't happy with how it was turning out - but I'm the one to blame for that, because I did write most of the outline. And it was one of those cases where in the outline and in theory it seemed great, but in the actual script some things just didn't work. In the end, I think it turned out to be quite a great episode. A really great episode, actually.

You're just always so negative. You've told me that yourself.

The same happened with "The Cold and Distant Stars" and "Path of Revelation, Part Two", actually. There were a lot of problems that came up, but in the end I was quite happy with how they had turned out. That actually makes it even more rewarding, looking at the final result, and thinking back at all the challenges and problems that came up during the development stages.
