what about "Marco Polo"? I always thought the actor portraying Marco Polo was handsome in the (Collector's) book photos...
"Marco Polo" and many other historical eps are still amongst the incomplete or forever lost eps...
my hubby and I recently went visiting a CD/DVD store...
Aside from the "TWO DOCTORS" (not a lost episode set) being right out in front, there were also some missing eps, formatted for American viewing audiences, sitting between some other DrWho DVDs. Some of these are probably not as stellar superior as Colin Baker's "Two Doctors" eps, but they're certainly worth looking at for historical purposes.
Some *major* finds we found were:
One disk (story # 37) -
Patrick Troughton's "The Tomb of the Cybermen"
The following eps were on a three disk set (roughly $50.00 US dollars). Some stories might still be incomplete eps...
Doctor Who - LOST IN TIME - Collection of Rare Episodes
(never broadcasted in the USA)
..stories # 14, 21, 24, 32, 33, 35, 36, 38, 40, 41, 43, and 49 The Crusade
The Daleks' Masterplan
The Celestial Toymaker
The Underwater Menace
The Moonbase
The Faceless Ones
The Evil of the Daleks
The Abominable Snowman
The Enemy of the World
The Web of Fear
The Wheel in Space
The Space Pirates
BTW- DrWHO trivia...
Nicholas Courtney's debut appearance -before he became DrWho's famous and lovable *Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart*, is episode # 2 in "The Daleks' Masterplan" and apparently included on the 3-disk set.
Originally posted by in circles: If someone finds episode 4 of The Tenth Planet I'll love them forever.
The 3-disk DVD set didn't say what eps it actually had on it, but there is footage from "The Tenth Planet" on there. Also contains footage from "Fury From the Deep" and "The Highlanders".
