~The Many Degrees of Stargate Game~

We're all familiar with the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game*, so I thought I'd start a new game where you draw an association between the most bizarre or ordinary object, place or thing and something Stargate - a place, person or race.

    Rules
    1. State the bizarre association at the beginning
    2. Any number of associations are allowed
    3. Any person, place, or thing real or fictional is allowed - including other universes (Star Trek, Outer Limits, etc.), television shows, movies, etc - as long as it all comes back to something Stargate.
    4. Keep the explaination of the association in SPOILER tags.

    As in...

Nail Clippers make me cry uncontrolably.
    Spoiler:

    Nail clippers - toe nails
Toe nails - ingrown toe nails
Ingrown toe nail - trip to the doctor
Trip to the doctor - seeing a doctor
Seeing a doctor - thinking of Janet
    Janet - death
    Death - sobbing

Samantha Carter makes me think of dog food.
    Spoiler:

    Sam dated Pete Shanahan
Pete Shanahan was played by David Deluise
David Deluise did a commercial for Beneful dog food

Blue jello makes me think of dog food.
    Spoiler:

Blue jello was Urgo's favorite food
Urgo was played by Dom Deluise
Dom Deluise is the father of David Deluise
David Deluise did a commercial for Beneful dog food

Blue jello makes me think about bitting off ears.
    Spoiler:

Blue jello was Jack's favorite food when he was inhabited by Urgo.
In Upgrades, Jack and Teal'c were boxing.
In a boxing match, Mike Tyson bit off an ear.

(Took me awhile to get that one...)

"The Clarke Postulate - One's ability to correctly explain advanced theoretical thermodynamics as applied to string theory within a fictional context is directly related to one's ability to cook the perfect lemon chicken with mushrooms in a nice garlic butter sauce. While some use this unexpected correlation as proof of intelligent design, I believe that its all about the person's choice of mushrooms.

I also believe that there is a tear developing in the space-time continuum which if left uncheck will allow Microsoft to become a world power. I suspect that unless we all download Firefox 3 on the same day, thus sealing the tear, that life as we know it may be over and children will have their teddy bears and blankets ripped mercilessly from their arms.

Stargates go on forever and ever.
          Spoiler:

          1. Stargates are circular in nature.
          2. A circle is NOT a line.
          3. A circle is actually an infinite number of points, of a given radius wide, resulting in an a circumference of n-points, where as each point actually has a point in between. (Advanced geometric theory)
          4. Since stargates are circles, and circles have a theoretically infinite number of points, stargates are never ending, and go on forever and ever.

            Ancient Drones to Neo

            Spoiler:

Ancient Drones we first saw, being controlled by Jack O'Neill

Jack O'Neill's head hurts when he thinks about the Matrix

            The Matrix has you, Neo
It's a joke. My way of deflecting attention from my own obvious heroism. You'll get used to it.
