    Cell Phone service in Atlantis?

    would they get cell phone/wireless internet service in atlantis when a worm hole to earth was established? what about satellite tv?

        Probably not. Bare in mind SGC (or more specifically the gate) is deep underground. Signals won't get through.

          Maybe they could have some relay satellites and pick up the relays through subspace. Then shep can watch some football. Screw cell phones.

              Cheyenne Mountain must have a signal booster or something, because it does get cell phone service. In Threads, for example, Sam's cell rings when she's in the briefing room.
