If Atlantis can cloak and the puddle jumpers can cloak then how about the Orion it could do some deep space reconnaisance maybe even find out the wraiths weakness that the original aurora discovered.

There's no reason to say that it can't. It's up to TPTB to decide.

Although, it seems that in the SG Universe, only Small things can Cloak: such as the PJs & Goa'uld Cargo Ships. The only reason Atlantis Claoked was removing a PJ cloak & tying it into the Shields-loosing the Sheilds but gaining a cloak. The Orion would probably not have a cloak unless the Atlantis Team exchange the Shield for a Cloak, which I doubt they'd do as it's a Warship of somesorts. Designed for Offence & Defence, not scouting or under-cover info. So...

But if you remember to one of the earlier seasons in stargate when apophis met in a minefield he was able to cloak an entire fleet of motherships but your right nothing in the pegasus galaxy bigger than a puddle jumper had a cloak of its own

I have a feelin that its either goint to be able to A) Cloak or B) Have some tough as nails shield that can outlast anything the wraith can throw at it.

Maybe if it has a shield, it could expand around the Deadalus providing extra cover, we've seen that the PJ's shield can expand!

The Powers That Be. I dont think they'd do that becaue it would give us too big of an advantage. After all, they make the characters dumber than they would be in a real situation.

cloak is special thing for ships that don't have shields or for ships that are scouts. nothing more, nothing less!!!!

Well, Atlantis has a shield. Who's to say a war ship cant have a cloak? worked pretty well for the Klingons. lol.

The warship probably does have a cloak, the PJ's do. why not implement it onto something bigger and better

In "Before I Sleep" there was a transport ship bound for Atlantis but it got destroyed and over 300 lanteans were killed my point is if they did have cloak the ship carrying them wouldn't have been in much of a crisis, mate.

It all depends on what they want to use the war ship for. Ideally, the cloak would be on something smaller. The best would be to get the Jumpers equipped with hyperdrives.
