    Pegasus Gates Faster

    The stargates in the PG dial alot faster than the gates in the MW why?

            they dont have to do the spinny thing the MW gate has to do, so theres not going to be any friction, so it'll move faster

              Erm only the gate on Earth does the spinny thing in the MW and that's because we have to manually dial out due to not having a DHD.

              Dial from a planet in the MW with a DHD and the gate doesn't spin.

                The other gates in MW sometimes spin too.

                As for the PG gates dialing faster, it's cause the gate doesn't spin manually. It's more automatic.

                      MW gates only spin if they are being manually dialed either by hand or by a dialing computer like what's used on Earth.

                      If a DHD is used they do not spin.

                              How do you know they can't? We haven't seen one dialed manually but that doesn't mean it isn't possible.
