    Evil Time Lords

How often do they pop up in Doctor Who? Was just watching a random story arc, and it was called "Time and The Rani" and its a pretty damn cool arc about a female Time Lord who is very evil... she also has a TARDIS but its in the shape of a pyramid! Very cool.

    Okay...you asked for it.

Spoilers for the appearances of all evil rogue Time Lords during the original series.
Some Time Lords are masters of disguise, so don't look at these spoilers if you want to be surprised when they make an appearance.
    Spoiler:

The Meddling Monk appeared in The Time Meddler (Season 2) and The Daleks' Masterplan (Season 3).

The War Chief appeared in The War Games (Season 6).

The Master (the original) appeared in Terror of the Autons, The Mind of Evil, The Claw of Axos, Colony in Space, The Daemons (all Season 8), The Sea Devils (Season 9), The Time Monster (Season 9), and Frontier in Space (Season 10).

The Master (decaying form) appeared in The Deadly Assassin (Season 14) and The Keeper of Traken (Season 18).

The Master (new body) appeared in Logopolis (Season 18), Castrovalva (Season 19), Time Flight (Season 19), The King's Demons (Season 20), The Five Doctors (Season 20), Planet of Fire (Season 21), The Mark of the Rani (Season 22), Trial of a Time Lord: The Ultimate Foe (Season 23), and Survival (Season 26).

The Rani appeared in The Mark of the Rani (Season 22) and Time and the Rani (Season 24).

The Valeyard appeared in Trial of a Time Lord (Season 23).

    SUMMARY
The Meddling Monk had two appearances.
    The War Chief had one.
    The Master (original) had eight.
The Master (decaying form) had two.
The Master (new body) had nine.
The Master (total of the above) had 19 all together.
    The Rani had two.
The Valeyard had one (or four, depending on how you count that saga).

I don't think you can class President Borusa as a Evil Time Lord, he just went a bit crazy when he regenerated.
Oh Yes the Sam is Back and hes more Sci-fied up than ever !!!!!!!!!

Plus, he was a good guy during his first three appearances.

I didn't mention Goth for the same reason, he was a good guy in his first appearance.

I only listed recurring "evil" rogue Time Lords as they appeared in the original series.

RTD has a tendancy to follow the production notes and they would indicate creed462 is correct.

I came to the same conclusion as he did.
Anthony Stewart Head appears in same episode as K-9 and Sarah.
                C'mon, that just screams...
                Spoiler:
I am the Master! You will obey me. You. Will. Obey. Me.

I'd be surprised if he wasn't. Regardless.
That theory is worthy of some green.

Well, they were at school together, weren't they? Plus, the Doctor claims he'd knwo if any other Time Lords were still alive, but
                    Spoiler:
the Master hasn't been using a Time Lord body in a while
                    .

Both are very good points. Definitely green worthy.

The one down side to the theory is that his listed name doesn't seem to be Latin, Greek or Sanskrit for 'master', which would seem to be pushing the Master's observed powers of deception...

How many times can he get away with that?

It's cute the first few times.
After a while, it gets to be a liability.

His character's name is Mr. Finch.

                            To pull a finch
means "to swindle an ignorant or unsuspecting person".

                            That seems appropriate.
