Really? Likewise, never heard of any novel publications...unless there's fan fiction out there; otherwise that's news to me.

Did you see them advertised somewhere?

Several authors have submitted proposals for original Firefly/Serenity novels, but at present the future of line is in the hands of Joss Whedon. Any decisions he makes about the franchise will affect the release of any potential novels.

I would hate it if they brought out books because I hate reading to me its boring but yeah that’s just me it would be even worse if the wrote books and then they got the opportunity to go back on TV and continued from after the books witch would mean you would have to read them to get what’s going on witch for me would be bad because I just wouldn’t bother so I say DOWN WITH BOOKS!

The last time any info on these was released, Pocket had recieved story submissions from many different autors (including DeCandido) but they are yet to pick the two who will write.
