The fate of Nerus - "Off the Grid" SPOILERS

So last we saw Nerus one of the Ba'als was pointing a staff weapon at him
But as he said himself "But I'm so interesting"

Nerus was a great character imo, funny and evil and smart (and a little bit disgusting ). Importantly we never saw him die

Am I the only one who hopes he made it off Ba'als ship alive

I thought it would have been funny if the beacon that Nerus unknowningly brought with him were used at the end of the episode to beam him out too. And later back to Area 51 for him!

He'll probably be dead, we have no use for him and he won't tell us anything, so why bother bringing him back?

That would be the epitome of all things. Nerus would probably be like, " Ah, my dear general, even more devious than before you dissapoint me."

Why did Ba'al use a staff weapon instead of a hand device?
Is he just a clone and not able to use one?
Did Nerus and Ba'al(s) escape before the destruction of the ship much like our intrepid heros?
Loved the evil scheming Nerus - glutton Nerus not so much.

I agree. I thought his character was awesome fun. He made me think of the Goa'uld in a whole new light. Sadly though, I highly doubt we'll see him again. I doubt tptb would have had much use for him anymore.

He was obviously a clone. For one thing, they wouldn't kill him off so quickly. For another, it's Ba'al. He's too smart to risk his life in space. And also:

                  Spoiler:
Ba'al will appear in season 10.

I liked him to, and we never saw him die so he could still come back. Infact even if we had seen him die he still could of come back like so many other chars in the SG universe.

Many goa'ulds have used staffs to kill in various eps, the clones are goa'uld too.
