How many ships can we expect next season?

Between the two shows in seasons 10 and 3 how many more ships can we expect? This would include ships acquired and not built by us as well. I know we get The Korelev, and we acquire the Orion. Four ships with piss poor tech is not something that can beat the crap outta hives and Ori ships. The only way we have a chance of surviving is through sheer numbers and i just dont see TPTB all of a sudden introducing like 30 new ships. What do you guys think is a reasonable number of finished ships?

I don't think number of ships is going to be a big factor. Even with a hundred daedalus-class ships, what good are they going to do against the Ori? I think the solutions to beating the Ori and Wraith will be out of the box. For example, maybe they could find a way to completely return all the wraith to a human form. Or some kind of biological weapon. Also if we could just put iris' on all the MW gates that would help a lot. The Ori galaxy must be really far or else they would have just flown here.

Only the Daedalus, Odyssey, and Korelev have piss-poor tech. The Orion is an Ancient/Alteran ship.

There won't be any full blown wars between Earth and Ori just yet. There gonna be a new enemy to both the Ori and Earth, that should keep the Ori occupied for a time. The Furlings are gonna be introduced, so thats another group to keep the Ori occupied assuming that the Furlings aren't the new enemy.

Anyhow, I expect more ships from the US an Russia being built and revealed during season 10. Probably 2 from each country the maximum. By season 11, I would hope that TPTB keep up this new angle involving the Chinese and perhaps we'll start seeing Chinese starships along side the Russian and American BC-303s.

the Korelev may end up having illegally acquired alien tech on it, but thats doubtful unless the russians start attacking the odd or the daed

Either the writers pull out another ancient super weapon out of someones behind.
Why do the ancients always have such superweapons when they are peacenicks?
Or the ancients interfere.
Or the ori ships are not that powerfull overall as we tought and can actually be fought.

I personaly thing it will be all of those chocies together.

weve only been in the "starship" game for 10 years. i think were doing fine. id like to see anyone else develop anything better in such a short time

i think we need one huge carrier ! with a few BC-303 inside. we also need bombers like the Al'kesh, they are useful to execute an air attack on a planet or to bombard another ship ! and why not new fighters with shields and railguns, in a word, something more powerful than F-302s
and for every ships, new weapons, like the Asgards' weapons, a big plasma weapon, better than the railguns
that way, we would have a good fleet which would be able to wipe out any ennemy armada in the galaxy !

I'm hoping to see at least 5-10 earth ships along with other alien vessels we get on the way in a huge battle. Maybe 2 part episode which is only one big space battle.

Hmm, I think an increase of ships would be interesting, this could possibly open a storyline where we and the Jaffa combine our resources to create our own class of ships, sweeping the last remaining remnants of the Goa'uld, of course this would require the creation of a large number of shipyards off-world
