Good Theory about the numbers & bunkers & glyphs

OK people connect the dots.

I think the numbers correspond to constellations of apollo

I think the constellations each correspond to the bunkers

I think the heiroglyphs are representations of those constellations and the
other 5 bunkers

There are six constellations of Apollo
1. Cygnus = swan
2. Sagitta = arrow
3. Corvus = crow
4. Crater = goblet
5. Ophiuchus = serpent handler
6. Orion = the hunter

These numbers helps astronomers locate constellations in the sky
M4 - the constellation Scorpius
M8 - Sagittarius (archer)
M15 - Pegasus (winged horse)
M16 - Serpens (serpent? not familiar with this one)
M23 - Sagittarius (archer)
M42 - Orion (hunter)
M108 - Ursa Major (bear)

4 8 15 16 23 42
Add up to 108

108*5 = 540
(each shift is supposed to last 540 days)

Each symbol corresponds to one of the bunkers. (except the one they're in)

When I saw that last glyph, my first thought was "arrow"! But the rest is too much of a stretch. At least for me. Why have Egyptian hieroglyphs in there and then have them mean something completely and utterly unrelated?

First symbol is a folded cloth, not a snake. There are several snake-related symbols in hieratic. And what's being called a crow is, in fact, an eagle. They may both fly, but there's a world of difference between the two of them.

Nice thought from those trying to tie it all in, but it's too square peg/round hole if you ask me.

When I saw that last glyph, my first thought was "arrow"!

It's not arrow, it's a determinative.
As for the word, it's middle egyptian - swd3 - which means "Die" (or more specifically "to cause (to) die")

Im sure I read somewhere that the arrow is not one of the 6 stations, but rather it is a storage area and that there are many arrows around the island. Great theory though, it all seems to fit

the new hatch they find has its own D.H.A.R.M.A logo is similar to the symbol of asclepius, Ancient Greek God of Healing (the station appears to be a medical base) which is two snakes entwined around a staff.
