no messing with me here...was there supposed to be some kind of kiss in Death Knell..like maybe on her forehead.........or was RDA and AT just messin around???.... They are sssooo sweet together!!!!!

Season 8 Entirely Speculation:

I am torn between a Season 8 S/J resolution and wanting Season 9. What if the S/J resolution was done with a future episode? With a future episode (like '2010') or even ending the series with peek at where the characters will be in 10 to 15 years, it would give TPTB room to do a movie or more seasons. We would know that Sam and Jack were happily together and there would be room to write how it all came about. Am I just wanting my cake and eat it too?

I could actually live with that. Very much. I'd still like to SEE something -kiss, hug, BIG SLOPPY WET KISS- but if the show ended with Sam and Jack going fishing together... my thoughts are mixed up. I just know that I want it confirmed -nothing ambiguous in intent or meaning- that Sam and Jack are definitely, irrevocably together. The ideal of showing a future -like with marriage and children- is a wonderful idea, but not one that I think would overwhelm the rest of the show. Balance is the key.

I felt that somehow this new forum wasn't going to work, and the thought that I'd never be able to talk to you guys... Okay, I'm PMSing, so that explains the mood swings , but I was still a bit scared that I'd lose you guys. You ARE my shipper family. You're who I come to when I'm feeling down or insecure about S/J's future. You're who I come to when I'm happy and just want to share the joy. You aren't just my friends, but my family. Thanks Tame, it's nice to be here. I must admit I lurk quite a bit, but I adore coming to this thread. It makes me feel all fuzzy when I read all the positive stuff you guys write about S/J getting together, as I feel so sad at the thought of "he who can't be named" making another appearance in S8.

That's what I like about the idea. We would see how happy they are together...lots of hugs and kisses and kids. Also, I would like to see what the future holds for Daniel and Teal'c. It would be like reading the end of a book and knowing everything turns out OK then you could handle anything that happened in the middle.

I've got a question(s) for fellow postees. I asked Darren on the former GREAT forum, but he didn't have the answer.

1- After answering a post, how do you get back to the original post you were replying to without hitting the back button twice?

2- After you've come back, say the next day, how do you get to the last post you'd read without having to memorize that number? It doesn't seem to be remembering or updating like the former forum.
