New possibilities with a fully functional city

Since little is known about the new season, it is still possible for gaining anouther 2 zpm's and that begs the question of what possible new technologies and activations would be from a fully functional city. Ideas anyone?

I don't think we'll be able to get 2 zpm's in Season 3... maybe 1 but it'll probably be when the one we have now depletes due to mass attack on Atlantis.

But the one thing we all know will work with 3 ZPM's is the ability for Atlantis to fly. But the writers won't be letting Atlantis fly any time soon so 3 zpm's in season 3 is unlikely. They'd probably make Atlantis fly at the end of the series.

Other possibilities.
2. We know that in Before I Sleep, when they gated into Atlantis, the city was trying to revive old Dr. Wier. That took a lot of power and they shut down that part of the city. With another ZPM, the city may detect enough power to resume any operations it was doing before it was put to sleep. Maybe the Ancients were building ZPM's right in Atlantis.

3. The ability to explore more of the city. The city is the size of Manhattan. AKA LARGE LARGE LARGE. We might turn on energy weapons like the one the Ori Satellite has in Ethon. As such, that may/ or may not save some drones.

4. An Ancient Satellite that was almost finished and was not launched during the Ancient-Wraith War.

5. Different means of Transportation. Warships. Transporters. sister PJ's. Doubt it since the Warships and Transporters probably only fit on the piers of Atlantis.

6. Schematics. Hmm... so the Ancients did leave instructions. lol.

Cool, I was thinking of something like the weapon that was on dakara, since they did create life in the pegasus galaxy and something like that would require massive energy

The one on Dakara was built in a mountain, sort of like a center base. I'm pretty sure Atlantis, being a movable city, wouldn't have the Dakara weapon, considering how it has a sister city (The Tower). If Atlantis had it then the sister city would have it. If so, both cities could wipe each other out with the weapon if they dialed all the stargates in Pegasus simultaneously like what SG-1 did.

Well first it wasnt quite a sister city, it was just the tower, if it was lots more scientist and staff would definatly be hired to work on that project. Also the city is far more modern than that of the technology built in the milky way so its possible it could be more compact. It wasnt originally destructive technology remember so it wouldnt effect the structure or the other technology just the life forms. Plus the ancients had to create life in the pegasus galaxy some how, and I dont think they did it the good old fashion way

no. Mckay scanned the area surrounding the Tower. It was an exact replica of Atlantis, only that most of it got buried underground throughout the years. They didn't have to created life in the pegasus galaxy. Besides, we will have another enemy in season 3 who were the original occupants of Pegasus before the Ancients came and put people on different planets to start anew.

personally i would think they might take the next zpm and power the tower stationing their own people. they cant risk the wraith getting a hold of the ancient tech so powering the tower sounds like the next step

The wraith haven't gone to the tower though because they still had drones for the last bunch of years...and because they only see the tower...not the city...As for the Tower's city...it looked less full and advanced as Atlantis...Atlantis has a gate in its main room and control consoles everywhere where the tower city was rather drab...Atlantis is definentely a more major city...as for ZPMs...wouldn't count on 3...maybe 2 by the end of s3...MAYBE...2 Maybe 2 zpms will power up the Drone Factory...or better yet...the ZPM factory lol...however that would solve the ZPM problem...

i think the best think to come out of the tower is that if atlantis falls they can take all the zpm's and the 8cheveron crystel plug them in to the tower and relaunch their wraith war from the tower, we would lose all the other info but the tower itself is better than some random planet. its the best alpha site they could hope to evac to.
also the citry might fly in S3. at the end that is.

If they relocate to the Tower they would face resistance from the locals though and the royal court guys dont look like the sharing types. They would also have to relocate the stargate and place it in the city and try to hook up the gate shield again. Though if Atlantis was destroyed, well the Tower one looks like a very poor replacement considering most of the spires are destroyed and the other levels are buried in areas known infamously for the earthquakes caused. Still...beggers can't be choosers should it happen.....

#1. The city won't fly any time soon I don't think.
#2. Atlantis is the crown jewel. If it wasn't, then the Ancients would have been pushed back by the Wraith to the more powerful city.

hopefully they'll find more alterran cities underwater or burried somewhere in pegasus and in mw

maybe instead of a city a town?
