Just wondeirng what people think as to what the Asgards will be doing?

It seems funny that even when there is trouble that effects the whole universe. They are rebuilding there home only?

Do you think they are secretly doing something that we will find out in season 10?

I think i heard i comment made in "ripple effect" that Thor is off on the edge of the universe... If so whats he doing?

What are your thoughts? :)

maybe working on that clone problem back in season 5. Or solving it and now having a different species of Asgard based off the ancestors they say they came from

maybe the asgard went to find the furlings somewhere, we have no idea what happen to the furlings since the ancients die and ascended into the higher plane, the nox is hiding from the enemy and want to live in peace.

Maybe the Asguard are in the Ori galaxy fighting them there. This could be why they haven't had success in getting a beach head in our galaxy.:ronan:

I cant see the Asguard fighting the Orii with out telling us. I remember in a recent episode a little Asgaurd guy tell SG-1 Thor couldnt be there cause he was dealing with a sesitive situation in another Galaxcy! perhaps asking the furlings for help or talking to Ancients who never acended. That little hint that was made makes me think either a new enemy will be making an appearance next year or the furlings and a new enemy will turn up in our Galaxcy.

here's the deal. Thor is an intergalatic pizza delivery man. He wasn't able to deliver pizza in under 30 minutes and now he won't be paid. This is the sensitive matter he is attending to.:ronan:

i dont think the asgard heard about the ori till daniel jackson expose them to the earth because the ancients didn't tell their allies about the ori.

i think we have to wait and see what happen between asgard and ori/ancients

They are in the middle of a major sexual identity crisis:p and for that they need examples (lots of them):they're downloading some porn and watch on a daily bassis and became sex addicts and seriously think they could use some help.:p
Seriously, I think they are trying to solve their cloning issue.

It would be even more F*ed up if they were downloading this porn off of all the broadcasts and signals leaving earth. After all, you know the asgard have no....uh you know....

Rebuilding, addressing the cloning problem and attempting to figure out a solution for the Milky Way and its Ori problem. Its possible that there are still some threats still in the Ida galaxy that need to be taken care of as well (no where the level of replicators though).

If Ida is as abundant in life as the Milky Way, the Asgard could view themselves responsible for letting the Replicators devastate several civilizations and are helping to rebuild them aswell. There could be Serakin-like or Aschen-like level civilizations in Ida aswell.

i don't know, the asgard never met ori since the ancients went to meet the asgard in Thor's Home Galaxy million year old. we have to wait and see what happen in season 10.

I heard that also, thats was why i asked this question? what's is the sensitive situation? I was curious if it was the furlings (new bad guy?), that would be cool.

We have the Wraith, the Ori (a major evil power) and Ba'al to deal with right now Atlantis will have another enemy next season so why do we need more?

To many enemies will lead to a crappy series. We need allies, new ships, new defences...hope.

Merlin1701
February 8th, 2006, 05:02 AM
....and the asgard could be building new ships with the threat of the Ori and the Wraith the Asgard need to start helping more!!!

YAH i really disagree with a new enemy thing.. besides the wraith, ori, ball, we have a new enemy being introduced in atlantis, the lucian alliance there are way to many enemys and to few of us... the Jaffa need to step up and start helping, the asgard need to get there little grey butts over to our galaxy with some battle ships... i think its either something to do with there cloning issue or the furlings (hopefully)... didnt i read a thread somewhere that said we might be hearing a bit about the Furlings in season 10? maybe I am wrong but i thought we where going too.... But either way I think its just a way the writers can make the Asgard absent like they always do because if the asgard wherent busy they would just fly in save the day and the story would suck. thats why they made the replicators so it wouldnt be dumb and the asgard couldnt just send 15 battleships in to destroy the goauld fleet and win the day.... I think its the same thing here.

i wouldn't be surprised if in some way, shape or form, that baa'l became a temporary ally. I like his character and the actor does such a great job, i could see him in a few episodes in season 10.

Have the Asgard taken on a similer take on the Ancients view of none intervention, only helping a hand not saving the day.

I think the asgard are up to somthing and its not good news, look how they kept the Replicator situation quiet,It was untill they got there butt kicked , that we found out about it. i think they are up to somthing

What the Asguard could be doing is, after seeing the threat coming in the form of the Orii they could be off getting the Furlings. Maybe because the Furlings are the only force in the universe with weapons or technology that can be used offensively against ascended beings. :tealc:
Just all part of my theory about the Furlings. :jack:

Now that would be pretty cool, just when things get to their worst and all hope is lost suddenly its here come the calvalry :) I would definately jump up and cheer. But thats me, I always like moments where the bad guys go "oh crap," and the audience knows the bad guys are screwed. :)

is it possible that the furlings or one of the powerful races indorse the ori or the wraith. furlings may of moved but to where did they move.
apprently the ori control one galaxy right, "that we know of" well if so, there's 9,000 of those, where the hell did the furlings go.
atlantis located in pegauses. pegauses cluster or galaxy.
the future is unknown and only rda well figure these things out.

Ya think they are looking for the furlings? or what? we know they are working on a pressing issue? is it the cloning or something else?
