    Your favourite Fandemonium Novel

    Hey there!

Having read quite a few of Fandemonium's Stargate Novels, I was wondering what everyone's favourite novel was?

Trial By Fire - by Sabine C Bauer
Sacrifice Moon - by Julie Fortune
A Matter of Honour - by Sally Malcolm
City of the Gods - by Sonny Whitelaw
    or
The Cost of Honour - by Sally Malcolm

Personally, I think that the Cost of Honour was the best, closely followed by A Matter of Honour and then Trial by Fire

I think this thread would help people who are unsure which book to read first, and also, if any kind mods would like to make this a poll?

each was good in its own way, but sac moon seemed to have way too much hacked out of it towards the end. it builds up this dramatic change....then drops it.

same with sonny whitlaw's which had all this angst in the beginning and then just dropped it.

trial by fire was enjoyable and i really liked both of Sally's books

I take it you missed Rising since it was just a novelization? It's a hard choice really. Sally Malcolm's stuff is excellent and I really like Trial by Fire. It's a hard choice. I think I'd got to Cost of Honor.

Lol, there's a reason Malcolm's Fandemoniums main girl.

well, i still haven't stumbled over rising yet. and, i personally dont' put novelizations based on a script on teh same page as an original story.

it's one thing to flesh out a script another to come up with a plot and write a novel length story

I didn't think it was fair to include Rising for three reasons

            1. As stated, it's a novelization, not a novel per se
            2. It's an Atlantis story, not an SG1 story
            3. Given the problems that people have had with getting their hands of a copy, not many people have actually read it...I've been looking for it since it came out and have yet to find it.

                Hard choice.
Really, really liked both the Sally Malcolm books but went for Sacrifice Moon, mostly on the nostalga factor of seeing the early seasons team again. I particularly liked Sam in that one too.

FF, looking forward to the next book, which is due early Feb and has the return of a certain bounty hunter to look forward to.

What I loved about Sacrifice Moon was that it was their first mission.

I really like Fandemonium. It's one instance when we, here in the UK, don't get screwed over.

Borders or Waterstones (or even better, your local independant book seller) should be able to order them for you.

I can give you the ISBN (the international book code) for any of them except the Atlantis and the new one which I haven't got. Anyone should be able to trace them from that.

FF, 2000 books isn't many really...
