    X-302 303

    ok so we have the X 302 and the X303....when did they change to F-302 and BC-303?
    we saw the X302 in redemption, then the next time you see one its the F-302 in Fallen
    same with the 303....its always been the X-303 in S6, then in S7 Enemy Mine it gets referred to as a BC-303

    anyone know why the name changed? or did I miss some big episode where they changed all the names around?

    the designations changed when they went into full production.

    when the ships were no longer an experimental prototype and they decided to built more they changed it from X-302 (eXpermiental 302) to F-302 (Fighter 302) and X-303 (eXpermiental 303) to BC-303 (Battle Cruiser 303). the changes weren't announced, but we are supposed to realise that the ships have proven themselves so they've decided to start building them

        Isn't F and BC for completely different ships?
        X - Experimental
        F - Fighter
        BC- Battle Cruiser

            just dont ask any of the following questions of ship designations:
            is the promethius a BC-303
            are the X and F 302's different
            and finally never ask is the DEADALUS BC-303

            never, otherwise be ready for smelting in the naquadah mines of kowen!
