I was reading on Wikipedia that they ACTUALLY considered Atkinson for the role of the 8th doctor in the movie. Makes you wonder what might have happened had he have been cast.

I heard an interview with Tom Baker, in which he mentioned working alongside Rowan Atkinson in Black-Adder II. He claims Rowan was "unimpressed with [his] performance" in that episode.
