    Optoelectronics Industry Development Association?

Ok I'm new here but a mate of mine linked me to the dharma initiative(.org) site hoping I could crack the form. I couldn't as its MD5ed and I'm too tired and stuff, but (despite the fact that I don't watch lost, and now really want to) thought I'd browse around.

So I come across http://www.dharmainitiative.com/ which I'm sure you've all heard of etc etc, but after looking a bit harder, it appears that not only is there an mailto link at the top ([email protected]) but the site is actually hosted at:

    https://s.hostingprod.com/@www.oida....rma/index.html

Now what does www.oida.org have to do with this site?

I emailed the CEO of the OIDA asking him if he could clarify.

Thanks all - I did search the forum for "oida" and it didn't come up, but if this has been said allready/is completely useless, I'm sorry.

Edit: Also has anyone tried buying a pre-membership card from http://www.dharmaindustries.com/ ?

first off, the first website you posted isn't legit.
its not hosted or sponsored by disney or abc - there is no terms of use on the page, or any other copyright. its just some page someone threw together.
    it means nothing.

secondly, the second page you listed, is obviously a SCAM.
For the love of god do not buy a premium membership. you're just giving away $30.
that site is also not a real website for the show.

someone should report that second site that's asking for money to someone and get it shut down. i wouldn't know who to notify though.
    it's clearly a scam.

This is what I was thinking, too - I mean why would ABC actually try and get money out of people?

Maybe emailing the OIDA chairperson guy will expose that maybe an employee has been using their hosting etc etc.

Crazy that there are so many scam sites too!

Seems a lot of work for a scam site with that flash interface thing on dharmaindustries.com (you know you can log into that by moving your mouse over the logo so all the numbers go green).

Then once it gives you a prompt, put in the magic numbers (without the spaces)
