    endearments in fanfic

    One of the biggest things that bother me in fics is when people try to use endearments, but they really don't fit the characters.

    Like Jack, I see him as a hon, or honey, maybe if he's feeling flirtatious something like gorgeous.

    What about for Sam? I'm not sure about her.

    ^^^ Kinda sounds like seasons 9 and 10 of SG-1 to me. Thor, ya got Aspirin?

    AGateFan has officially Gone Fishin (with Jack, Sam, Daniel, Teal'c) and is hoping Atlantis does not take that same hairpin turn.

        I remember in "Cold Lazarus" Jack called his wife, "Baby" but I don't recall him using anything else.
