I don't know if she's fully recovered from the back injury she suffered from Aeon Flux. I believe she's staying low for awhile.

In the meanwhile there were some rumors about Jessica Simpson as a bond girl. They're getting desperate.

Didn't Angelina Jolie also turned them down?

Hmm, maybe they should just bring back Halle Barry...

I really don't care much about bond girls but I liked that idea as well. It's kind of like giving one hopefully deserving unknown girl an opportunity to jumpstart her career. But something like that would be almost unheard of these days. It's funny how the world, or at least hollywood has changed in that respect. Everything's about what's hot right now; and right now is a very short time.

You have a good point there -- these days, it's "who's starring in it, etc" Bringing in 'unknown' bond girls would open new opportunities for them and besides, if it'll be nice to see a fresh new slew of faces.

For me this does not bode well...as much as I enjoyed the other films. This does not inspire much confidence in the new film.
