Why doesn't this forum have a 'mark all topics read' button ?

I'm not interest in three weeks/months/years old posts. I want the stuff the was added today. This works fine when you're not logged in, but then I morph into Janus and I suddenly get stuck will all these 'new posts' in don't want.That's one of the reasons I haven't be here for while, because I have to open and close all those threads to 'get rid of them'.

Anybody agree with me here ?

It does. It's called the "Mark Forums Read" button, and it's located directly below the Off-Topic Chatter section on the forum index.

Or you can mark a Folder thread (here's the link to mark the General Stargate Discussion folder read):

to do this on other folders: go to Forum tools -> Mark this forum read

Or you can look up on the menus for "Quick Links" and click that for a drop-down list that has "Mark Forums Read."

huh, I didn't notice that before. I usually go to "Quick Links" to check out my profile.
