Bboards at the SciFi Channel

The new bboards don't appear to be fully operational yet, but you can see that they are indeed a MAJOR upgrade from their previous software they were using.

(Of course, no one can match GateWorld Forums! Thanks again, Darren, and all the moderators, and David, for all your hard work.)

* You can see how many views each thread has
* Polls are an option
* Attachments are an option
* You can rate a thread
* You can use HTML code
* You can "jump" from one bboard to another on the SciFi site

They remind me of the SG1 site message boards. I never liked Sci-Fi's message system, or Gateworld's original boards. I love this newer Gateworld forum though.

That skin they use (SciFi), does match the site alot better though.

I can only get to it from the link. My old bookmark and going directly to the site doesn't work. Looks so different...will take getting used to.

This forum is pretty cool, but so overwhelming with so many members!

Help me here...I can't reply or post on the new scifi bb. I get a message that says this:

The host you are trying to send the input from is not a valid host.

Any suggestions? I'm getting to the board from the link you put in the original post-I can't get to it any other way.

i never cared for the scifi boards either...they should try to make them more like gateworld forums and easier to navigate...

Thanks, no luck. I tried re-registering, we'll see if that works...I think maybe I need to clean out the cache.
