Stargate testers wanted

Sydneysiders called to rid the galaxy of an ancient evil.

Perception is a Sydney based development studio with the rights to develop a game based on the Stargate SG-1 license. Named The Alliance, it was previously set for release in late October, however the game’s initial publisher, JoWood Productions, was involved in a dispute with Perception which resulted the game’s publishing contract being terminated.

Although the game is still without a publisher, development has continued and must now be nearing completion since Perception yesterday posted a link on their website calling for people to join a focus testing group for the game. They are looking for anyone who lives in Sydney and wants to get their hands on the work in progress. Follow this link to apply.

The game is currently being developed for Xbox, PS2 and PC. We’ll bring you more information on its release date when it’s revealed.

The5thRace.net has just been offered by Perception the opportunity to send two members to Alpha Test the game at Perception HQ. The testers will get to play the game with Perception staff, and afterwards will receive a free copy of the game and a signed poster.

You will need to provide your own transportation and let them videotape your experience.
