Names for Genii characters?

Hey to all!

I'm not exactly sure if it's appropriate to post this here, but a Mod could just move it on me it's all good!

I'm after some names for Genii characters for a fanfic I'm trying to do for this site, and a few others besides... is there any historical subtext for the Genii, would anyone know? Y'know - Goa'uld = Ancient Egyptians etc.

I don't really think there is anything to the origins of Genii names as far as I can tell... what is there? Commander Acastus Koyla (played by Robert Davi), Sora (played by Erin Chambers), Ladon (played by Robert Robbins)... strange names though. If there is any information out there that people know of, or theories, I would be thankful to know of them.

Why not google the name and see what you get.

there are baby name sites out there that might give you some insight.

i've always thought that they were sorta celtic in a way. Kolya, Sora, however since there is no real theme presented, i would say just make them up.

look through the phone book or baby books and find names that just seem to fit and use them
