Forum Trouble--Slow

I'm having trouble with the system tonight. It's becoming horribly slow, and sometimes, I have to submit posts twice to get them to appear once. Icons aren't always working on the first try either.

Thanks. I don't think I'm one of those folks though.

I just find that the forum slows down horribly sometimes, and it is doing it again now. I am not having trouble on other sites, but when I go to post, the site is slow to react.

I would like to point out from my point of view, GW Forums is like one of the slowest forums on the entire Internet. Doing simple posting, clicking through forums, etc. - it can be such a pain in the butt sometimes.

Note, I have 2mb Broadband Internet connection.

I would like to point out from my point of view, GW Forums is like one of the slowest forums on the entire Internet. Doing simple posting, clicking through forums, etc. - it can be such a pain in the butt sometimes.

I agree, i have a 3mb broadband connection and GW is the slowest site to load up
But i dont mind because GW is the greatest site on the internt as far as im concerned

I've noticed that especially since the upgrade, it does take significantly longer for GW pages to load. The odd part is, the ads pretty much load instantaneously. The rest of the page takes 10-15 seconds to load sometimes. And this is on a 1.5mb DSL connection.

Thanks all. I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem. Things have been slower since the upgrade. I'm on a DSL line too, and I don't have any problems with my email accounts or other websites, just the forum.

I think the wait is worth it too most days.

I'm not really bothered by the slower loading pages. It's all for a good cause anyway.
