    Universal Pictures presented The Los Angeles premiere of Joss Whedon's SERENITY on September 22nd at the Universal City Cinemas.

    City Walk up at Universal Studios was lined with the fans and each time someone from the cast was introduced the fans screamed, but the loudest screaming was for the man of the hour…Joss Whedon.

    Seen on the red carpet were the stars of the film: Morena Baccarin, Adam Baldwin, Nathan Fillion, Ron Glass, Summer Glau, David Krumholtz, Sean Maher, Nectar Rose, Jewel Staite, Alan Tudyk, producer Barry Mendel and writer-director Joss Whedon with his wife Kai Cole.

    Joining the stars were guests: Amy Acker and her husband James Carpinello, Alexis Denisof and his wife Alyson Hannigan, Raz Adoti, Christina Hendricks, D.B. Woodside, David Greenwald, Marti Noxon, Maurise Maclou, Jose Canseco, James Gunn, Golden Brooks, Ashley Tisdale, Trina McGee and Dominic Hoffman.

    SERENITY opened nationwide Friday, September 30.

      Serenity didn't really seem to get that much publicity in the US, none of the cast were on any of the talk shows.

        Well, I know that Nathan Fillion and Andy Tudyk were on Best Week Ever on Vh1, but other than that, I really didn't see anything.

          I didn't see any of the cast of Serenity on any major talk show, Letterman, Leno, Regis, etc., but stars from the other movies were all over the place.
