Despite pointblank statements from Paramount and virtually everyone associated with the Star Trek franchise, that Enterprise is done and over, TrekUnited (TU) continues to make "Save Enterprise" a driving undertow of their shady existence.
Their most recent unlawful scheme was to register a website domain named "EmmyIdol.com" and link it to the real Emmy website, which they admitted was intended to capture Emmy Idol traffic, to be redirected to TU. This baiting and misrepresentation scam violates trademarks, and it was changed shortly after being reported to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
As for the redesigned TU as a news site: Copyright "fair use" has been taken as an invitation for outright theft, as they've done cut-and-paste of entire articles from online news outlets, and not given named credit to the sources.
