Favourite Star Trek Ship

This is a pretty geeky question to ask but me and a mate always talk about the fleet action in Trek and the different classes so i thought i'd ask the folk here at Gateworld.

What's your favourite class (or specific ship) from the Trek universe? Including all the different races, not just Starfleet. To help refresh your memory, there's a list of most classes and ships featured in Trek here.

Personally, i quite like Voyager, the (i don't know the technical term, warp nacelles, is it??) way the little things at the back rise up when going into warp is really cool. My favourite though is either the Cardassian Galor class, The Defiant or Jem'Hadar battleships. (All DS9, i know!!) Oh wait, the Vulcan fleet in the only episode of Enterprise i saw was really hardcore too.

*shakes head* Typical!! At least it wasn't the Galaxy class Enterprise-D like i thought the first one would be!

I'd also like to point out that althought Voyager was a little ridiculous in places, the Wells class does look immense.

It may not have been pretty, but I've always had a soft spot for the Defiant too. I really like the Akira class, but my favourite would have to be the Jem'Hadar warships. Nothing beats purple nacelles.

Geeky questions deserve equally geeky respons from geeky people

I liked the Enterprise E from first contact. It upped the coolness factor of the previous Emterprises.

I also liked the final upgrades to Voyager in the last episode. That was the moment it became a really awesome ship.

Indeed! You'll probably appreciate this Qasim, if you're a big fleet action connoisseur! Tomorrow at 4 on Sky One, "Sacrifice the Angels" (think that's what it's called. the battle of bajor ep.) is on. If you're interested in "Favor the Bold", it'll be on at 2 on Mix. Just thought i'd let folks from britain know that (from my understanding) a top quality ep. of DS9 is on.
