Well we know that the Kih'Andari can replace people so maybe Sonak wasnt the real sonak, same goes for Williams, maybe they where both replacement agents.

This is true, who knows what is going on with the Kih'Andari? But remember that Sonak (who has a great first name, which you'll find out in early season two) is a Vorian, and would have no difficulty allying himself with the Kih'Andari, if that is what he wanted.
