NEW Season Eight Promo Commercial
The SciFi Channel began airing a NEW Season Eight promo commercial on
Friday during SciFi Friday. The commercial ran approximately 15
seconds.
Announcer's Voice Over: "After seven seasons together everything
they've known is about to change.
The special two-hour premiere of 'Stargate SG-1'. Friday, July 9 at
9."
The clips running are very different -- they start out as vertical
clips, each clip taking up a quarter width of the screen. As one clip
fades out, the next clip fades in to the right of it, and so on.
First up is a clip of Jack, wearing the olive green uniform, standing
in some forest somewhere. He's looking off to the left (camera right
pov), with his left hand up near his right shoulder.
Next clip is of Sam, wearing a sleeveless black t-shirt, hard to tell
where she is.
Next clip is of Teal'c (with hair), also standing in a forest,
wearing olive green uniform.
Next clip is of Daniel, appears to be wearing the black uniform, and
holding a P-90, also standing in a forest.
Then a brief view of travel inside a wormhole, which fades out
showing:
Teal'c (and some SGC personnel in the background) at the SGC, and
they're in a middle of firefight. There's an explosion to rear and
right of Teal'c.
Another brief view of travel inside a wormhole, which fades out
showing:
Sam, wearing that sleeveless black t-shirt, falling to floor,
grimacing she hits. Appears to be in the SGC.
Another brief view of travel inside a wormhole, which fades out
showing:
Jack, lying horizontal inside an alien looking chamber. Again, his
head resting on a headrest.
Traveling again inside a wormhole, which fades out showing:
Sam (with Teal'c standing behind and to the left of her) sitting
inside the SGC Control Room and Sam is saying: "Someone's activated
the gate!"
A clip of Jack looking towards the camera…at someone or something.
