    House of Wax set destroyed

    http://www.news.com.au/common/story_...E26462,00.html

Hey, the remake of 'House of Wax' was in the process of being filmed at Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia. (About forty-minutes from where I live.) They were filming the last scenes and they accidently burnt the entire soundstage to the ground.

Heh, it's sort of funny. It would have been even funnier if Paris Hilton was there. Not very good of House of Wax to finish there production by burning down the studios. I wonder if Warner Bros. is gonna let the company film there again.

Probably not, at least they weren't filming on the 007 stage in US somewhere, phew! then they would have been in a bit of trouble, both legally and financially.

It was only one soundstage though, the fire didn't spread. I wonder if all there sets were in the there? Probably not. Do you suppose the company will have to pay for the damage. They probably have to pay for something. When they got the studio space they probably gave Warner Bros. some extra cash, in case they screw something up.

I think the premise of 'House of Wax' is some guy's wax museum burns down and his hands are disfigured. He rebuilds his collection by killing people and covering them in wax or something.

O.....K..... thats sounds like a pretty weird movie.

Yeah, they would have to pay for damages or something, there is no way that they would be able to get away with it.

Yeah, it's a remake of some crazy old movie. It's by the same people who made House on Haunted Hill, Thirteen Ghosts, and Ghost Ship. It could be cool. It's got Paris Hilton and that blonde chick from 24 in it. I wonder what they're going to do now to finish of those final scenes. Do you think they'll rebuild the sets or do some screwed up change to the movie. Last year one of the rides at Movie World caught on fire as well.

Rides catching on fire, thats different.

Paris Hilton eh? I have some of her work lying around somewhere on this PC.......

They would probably rebuild it, but they would do that back in America or something where they won't get into trouble or aren't hated yet.

Nah, I doubt Warner Bros. would want to cut ties, they'll probably let them rebuild there. Otherwise they could always go to Fox Studios. It'll probably be on the news tonight. It's pretty much the front cover news story on one of Queenslands biggest weekend news papers. I think they filmed those other two movies there as well. The ride was the Wild, West Ride and the fire burnt down the 'explosives room'.

I think they'll show it though. It's not everyday that an Australian movie studio burns down.
