Today, Dynamic Entertainment announced that its parent company, Dynamic Forces, had reached an agreement with Universal Studios Consumer Product Group to create a Battlestar Galactica comic-book. Based on the Sci-Fi Channel hit series, Galactica will be written by Greg Pak and is expected to launch this winter.

"Greg [Pak] is a creator at the top of his game," said Dynamite Entertainment Spokesperson J. Allen. "Having read and reviewed his proposed first year's worth of stories, he has an in-depth understanding of what has made this new Battlestar such a success. A busy writer and movie maker, we are very lucky to have him on the BSG comic team."

Look for more details on the comic, including an ongoing artist, in the coming weeks.
