Some excerpts:
This is a very good show, with a terrific cast, excellent writing and several plots to keep you guessing. Fortunately, the space show cliches are avoided. Even though the setting is the far away future, people dress and talk as we do today, and all the spaceships and weaponry look old-fashioned. The telephones even have wires.
One of the most interesting characters is "Starbuck" played by Katee Sackhoff. She’s a top pilot and strategist who thinks outside the box, always trying to outwit the Cylons.
Despite the fact that the events take place in the distant future, stories are filled with contemporary issues such as the treatment of prisoners of war, church versus state and freedom of the press.
