From the 2005 Leo Awards Site:

            http://www.leoawards.com/index.php?p...list&year=2005

The Leo Awards were created to celebrate excellence in British Columbia Film and Television.

The winners from the second night of the awards included:

2005 Award: Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series
            Program: Stargate SG-1 - Threads
            Recipient(s): Amanda Tapping

And actress Gwynyth Walsh (who has guest starred on SG1) was the recipient of the 2005 Award: Best Performance by a Female in a Short Drama Program for Flush.

Unfortunately, in the following categories SG1/SGA were nominated but did not bring home the award:

Dramatic Series - Program - SGA was nominated - The Collector won in this category.

Dramatic Series - Direction - PdL was nominated for SGA's "The Defiant One" - J.B. Sugar won for The Collector - The Historian

Dramatic Series - Screenwriting - PdL was nominated TWICE for: SGA's "The Defiant One and SG1's "Affinity" -- Jesse McKeown won for the Robson Arms - The Tell Tale Latex

Dramatic Series - Cinematography - Nominees included SG1's "It's Good to be King" - Jim Menard - however Henry Chan took the award for The Collector - The Historian

Dramatic Series - Lead Performance by a Male - Michael Shanks was a nominee for SG1 - however the award was presented to John Cassini for the Robson Arms - Aftershock

Congratulations to Amanda Tapping for her THIRD Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Female (Amanda previously won in 2000 and 2004, and was nominated in 2000 in this category), and was nominated for Best Director in 2004 (for "Resurrection").

Congratulations also to all the nominees for all their hard work.
